Mana Shigematsu
Mana is a Doctor of Physiotherapy and provides in-house services to members and athletes.
His signature “Ikaika Method,” is an evidence-based, holistic approach designed to bridge the gap from pain into high performance – helping people to realise their best selves through exercise and physiotherapy.
His experience encompasses a very large array of demographics and health goals, having worked in a variety of settings including training professional athletes, stroke units, persistent pain clinics, elderly rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning with the New South Wales Police.
Mana’s special interests and passions lie in the areas of musculoskeletal, post-operative (orthopaedic), chronic pain management, epigenetics, early-stage Parkinson’s Disease, vestibular rehab and sports physiotherapy.
